Grinding is one of the most applied method of rust removal. It is also the most labor intensive. Grinding also generates a ton of rust dust that may be breathed in and gets into your eyes.
Grinding operations use abrasive wheels/pads and also remove base metal. intricate designs and many corners are very difficult to remove rust from, sometimes requiring a Dremel like tool or hand sanding.
You will also need to use safety glasses, particulate goggles and possibly respirators. Also, watch out for potential fires.
Sanding is another similar process as grinding. What a pain...
There has to be a better way than using a sander to remove rust?
Chilling your beer or wine after you purchase warm bottle has been a problem ever since the invention of the tail gate. We have a solution for you now and its simple.
All you need is some ice and salt. Rock or solar salt works the best.
Place your beers or wine bottle into a bucket or other convenient container
Add the ice up to the top of the bottles, adding water will speed up the process
Pour the rock salt onto the ice and mix
Stop adding salt when the bottles start to form frost on them
Your beers will be ultra chilled after this. Do not let them sit in the salt water and ice for long, they will freeze
Rinse off the outsides of the beer or wine prior to opening it up, salt kinda ruins the flavor of beer
You can usually find ice, rock salt and water at most any convenient store. This also works far better than just using ice alone
