This is a copper wire leading from the battery to the grounding lug on the frame off a Audi. The customers car was very clean except for the corroded wire and asked us if he had to replace it or if our solution would work.
The left picture is before showing the green corrosion and generally corroded wire. The right picture shows the same clean wire. Note that all the strands of wire have been cleaned off and the plastic insulation was not damaged by our rust remover.
This part was immersed into 10% concentrate with 90% water for about 1 hour. The wire was re-installed and the customer is happy and saved money and time looking for this part.
